3A1 Angiocentric Glioma (Case 3) H&E 4
Case 3 History ---- The patient is a 3 year old male with a brain tumor involving the left temporal lobe. ---- 3A1-3 Sections show a neoplasm consisting of a proliferation of astrocytic line elements with bland spindled nuclei, largely delicate chromatin which show a prominent affinity for perivascular growth. Significant numbers of mitoses are not demonstrated. MIB-1 immunoreactivity demonstrates a low proliferative activity (<1%).
