4A2-4 This whole mount preparation shows the tumor, strongly immunoreactive and adjacent brain with mild reactive astrocytosis. In many areas, the tumor cells are arranged around blood vessels, either perpendicularly aligned in a fashion resembling perivascular pseudo-rosettes or arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blood vessel. In some areas, individual tumor cells are seen infiltrating the adjacent parenchyma. (H&E)
