Higher magnification of papillary tumor area (Trichrome stain) ---- Comment: The morphologic and immunohistochemical studies support the diagnosis of astroblastoma with focal high grade features. Such tumors are thought to display features of both astrocytic and ependymal lineage and the prognosis somewhat difficult to predict. However, in well demarcated neoplasms such as this one, extent of surgical resection likely plays an important role.
