Case 9 History ---- The patient was a 45-year-old man with a history of oligodendroglioma, WHO grade II status post resection and chemoradiation. Brain MRI (9/2017) shows increased nodular FLAIR signal abnormality along the medial margin of the resection bed and increased contrast enhancement, concerning for recurrent disease. Operative procedure: Redo right temporal craniotomy for tumor resection with intraoperative use of MRI, microscope and frameless stereotaxy. ---- 9A1,2 This is an intraoperative smear preparation which shows origin of tufts of microvascular proliferation.
