21A1 Astrocytoma, pilocytic (Case 21) H&E 6 copy copy
Case 21 ---- 4 year old male, posterior fossa, residual/recurrent (<1 year separation) (BRAF fusion test not available at this time) ---- 21A1-3 Although the invasion of the subarachnoid space by the tumor is not usually significant for pilocytic astrocytoma, invasion changes the appearance of the tumor which may be confusing, especially during intraoperative interpretation (H&E) ---- 21A1 The pia is marked by arrowheads and the subarachnoid space is immediately above (arrow) (H&E)
