Case 2 History ---- The patient is a one year old male infant with a right temporal/thalamic lesion. Differential diagnosis: Pilocytic astrocytoma vs ganglioglioma. Operative procedure: Craniotomy and excision. ---- 2A1,2 MRI examination using FLAIR (2A1) and T2-weighted (2A2) scans show a hyperintense mass.
