Case 8 History ---- The patient is a 2 year old boy with a suprasellar mass lesion that was previously biopsied and diagnosed as a primary glial neoplasm. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for resection of right optic glioma. ---- 8A1-3 An MRI study shows and isotense to hyperintense mass in the hypothalamus as demonstrated by T1-weighted non contrast (8A1), T1-weighted with contrast (8A2) and T2-weighted image (8A3).
