10F (Case 10) Ki67 20X
Reactivity for proliferation marker Ki-67 stains a very small subset of tissue nuclei, estimated to be far lower than 1%. (Ki67 IHC) ---- Not shown: FISH analysis shows no evidence of 1p/19q codeletion. Targeted sequencing (NGS, FoundationOne) shows mutations in TP53 and IDH1 (R132H). There is no evidence of homozygous CDKN2A deletion by sequencing nor is there evidence of CIC, FUBP1 and Tert promotor mutations. ---- Comment: These histopathological and immunohistochemical findings support the "integrated" diagnosis: Diffuse astrocytoma, IDH1-mutant, WHO Grade 2.
