There is a low proliferative index. (Ki67 IHC)--- Not shown: GFAP highlights an atypical cell population as well as the glial background. FISH studies show no evidence of CDKN2A deletion. ---- Comment: The collective morphological and immunohistochemical features are consistent with a diagnosis of astrocytoma, IDH1 (R132H) mutant, CNS WHO grade 2. Targeted sequencing (Foundation One) shows mutant IDH1 and TP53 genes.
