Washington University Experience | NEOPLASMS (GLIAL) | Astrocytoma, IDH-mutant, WHO Grade 2 | 17F (Case 17) Ki67 20X

17F (Case 17) Ki67 20X
Ki-67 proliferation index is low, estimated up to ~2%. (Ki67 IHC) ---- Not shown: FISH study is negative for homozygous loss of CDKN2A. Targeted sequencing (Foundation One) shows expected mutations in IDH1 (R132H) and TP53. There is no evidence of homozygous CDKN2A deletion by sequencing nor is there evidence of CIC, FUBP1 and Tert promotor mutations. ---- Comment: The collective features are consistent with an astrocytoma, IDH1 (R132H) mutant by immunohistochemistry, Grade 2.
