The tumor has expanded and discolored the basal ganglia and thalamus resulting in blurring of the gray/white junctions by the diffusely interfering glioma. ---- The collective morphological and immunohistochemical features are consistent with a diagnosis of diffuse midline glioma, H3K27M-mutant, WHO grade IV.
