2B2 This coronal section shows diffuse cerebral edema. There are several punctate hemorrhagic foci, including in the right medial frontal lobe and the right anterior temporal lobe near the area of the gray-white junction. There are several areas of subarachnoid hemorrhage, including in the right frontoparietal lobe and right anterior temporal lobe. The lateral ventricles appear compressed. Radial sections of the cerebellum appear markedly edematous.
