3A3,4 The brain was bisected sagittally in fresh state, and samples of brain and tumor tissue were collected for research purposes. The sulcal-gyral pattern developmentally is unremarkable but demonstrates widespread effacement of sulci; there is prominence of left uncus in keeping with the left uncal herniation as noted by imaging.
