6A0 Case 6 History
Case 6 History ---- The patient was a 58 year old male who was diagnosed as having a glioblastoma multiforme approximately 1 1/2 months before his current presentation. He did have a previous history of right sided numbness that began in 10/92 with an MRI at that time showing a right posterior thalamus lesion which was treated with steroids, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He was admitted in 10/93 and was diagnosed as having a Pseudomonas urinary tract infection and a possible pneumonia as well. The patient had a downhill hospital course and died following an episode of cardiac arrest during hospice.
