Washington University Experience | NEOPLASMS (GLIAL) | Diffuse midline glioma, H3 K27-altered | 6B GBM, thalamus (Case 6) H3K27M 20X
Obtainable single slides were destained and restained for H3K27M. There was no evidence for selective staining of tumor cell nuclei for H3K27M. The chief appearance was staining of tumor cell cytoplasm and nuclei, including the processes of large tumor cells. ---- It is my opinion that this pattern of staining is not compelling for DMG and is more consistent with glioblastoma/IDH mutant grade 4 astrocytoma.
