3A0 Case 3 History
Case 3 History ---- The patient is a 68 year old woman with a past medical history of chronic sinus trouble and irritable bowel syndrome. For several months, she has noticed numbness and shooting pain in the legs, particularly in the groin which were worsened by lying flat. She complained of pain in her back from the waist down and her legs felt rubbery. She required the use of a walker. She also noticed urinary frequency and urgency. MRI showed an intramedullary spinal cord tumor from T7-T9 with edema. Operative procedure: Excision. Diagnosis: Ependymoma, WHO Grade 2
