4C GFAP is strongly and diffusely positive in both spindled and clear cell areas. (GFAP IHC). ---- Other immunohistochemical stains (not shown): A D2-40 immunostain (podoplanin) highlights a subset of cells with cytoplasmic reactivity. An immunostain for epithelial membrane antigen (EMA) shows rare cells with granular, dot-like cytoplasmic reactivity. A Ki-67 stain shows an increased index of proliferation, focally elevated to 11%.
