Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 40 year old man with a 4.4 x 1.4 cm intradural, extramedullary enhancing tumor distal to the conus. Operative procedure: Lumbar laminectomies at L1 and L2 for resection of intradural tumor. ---- 2A1-4 MRI studies show a columnar mass which is variably hyperintense on STIR (2A1), shows limited staining on T1-weighted (2A2) imaging that enhances with contrast (2A3) and is hyper/isointense in T2-weighted studies.
