Sections of the intradural tumor show a neoplasm consisting of abundant cells with ovoid nuclei and speckled chromatin, fibrillary processes, microcysts, and hyalinized vasculature. Many of the neoplastic cells have small but distinct darkly-staining nucleoli. Mitotic figures are not identified.
