5C1,2 There is weak positivity for cytokeratin. This tumor is presenting in an extramedullary site which is coincident to almost 20% of cases of myxopapillary ependymoma in children (Cimino, et al, PMID: 25066546). These tumors have the capacity for local recurrence but no potential for metastatic disease in most patients.
