Endothelial hyperplasia is noted within some tumor nodules (arrows, 7D7). The nodules of tumor tissue generally appear well-circumscribed, surrounded by thick, dense, focally calcified, hypocellular, hyalinized fibrous stroma. However, the stroma does show infiltration by individual and small clusters of tumor cells in some areas.
