7E1,2 Immunohistochemically stained sections show uniform strong reactivity among tumor cells for glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in a cytoplasmic pattern. (GFAP IHC). No significant tumor cell reactivity for epithelial membrane antigen (EMA) is observed. The myxoid nature of the stroma is demonstrated by mucicarmine, alcian blue, and PAS stains (not shown).
