Sections reveal a solid-appearing spindle cell neoplasm with moderate cellularity and in a “single file” growth pattern. There is mild nuclear pleomorphism, with the majority of tumor nuclei being oval with delicate chromatin and abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm.
