EMA immunohistochemistry stains some tumor cells with dot-like positivity. (EMA IHC) ---- Not shown: Immunohistochemically stained sections show strong cytoplasmic reactivity for glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in the vast majority of tumor cells. Reactivity in a paranuclear dot-like pattern is observed in some areas for podoplanin (D2-40). Nuclear reactivity for proliferation marker Ki-67 stains tumor cell nuclei at low but variable density, quantified focally at 1.8%.
