Case 6 History ---- The patient is a two-year-old girl who presented with a six-week history of irritability, headaches, nausea and vomiting at an outside hospital. Further evaluation, on imaging, showed a large posterior fossa mass causing obstructive hydrocephalus and the patient was immediately transferred to SLCH, where a right frontal external ventriculostomy was placed in 11/2011. Operative procedure: Suboccipital craniotomy for resection of posterior fossa mass. ---- 6A1 This fourth ventricle mass has resulted in ventricular dilatation in this T1-weighted scan with contrast.
