The tumor is GFAP immunoreactive with an epithelioid pattern. (GFAP IHC) ---- Not shown: The tumor is proliferative with 8 mitoses/10HPF. The Ki-67 proliferation index is elevated, ranging focally up to 16%. Microvascular proliferation is focal. The diagnosis made was WHO Grade 3 ependymoma.
