This is a moderately cellular neoplasm arranged in a prominent perivascular pseudo-rosetted pattern. The neoplastic cells appear epithelioid with oval normochromatic nuclei in a fibrillary background. There is moderate pleomorphism within the tumor cells and the presence of rare mitoses. There is no evidence of microvascular proliferation and necrosis.
