Patchy cytoplasmic D2-40 dot-like immunoreactivity is seen within the tumor cells. (D2-40 IHC) ---- Not Shown: The Ki-67 proliferation rate is elevated, reaching ~10% in some areas. ---- Comment: The overall findings are consistent with an ependymoma (WHO grade 2). An elevated proliferation index is worrisome.
