Case 9 History ---- The patient was a 14 year-old girl with new onset seizures and a right parietal enhancing lesion that is cortically based and measures 11 x 11 x 14 mm. ---- 9A1-3 This is a highly cellular glial neoplasm composed of sheets of monomorphic, uniform cells with round to oval nuclei. In some areas the cells have an oligodendroglia-like appearance with clear perinuclear halos. Vascular pseudorosettes and microvascular proliferation are present. Mitotic activity is increased with five mitoses/10HPF.
