13D1-5 A third adenoid pattern is characterized by interconnected 'lakes' and 'streams' of myxoid material containing cords, clusters, and singly-dispersed tumor cells with malleable nuclei, finely granular chromatin, inconspicuous nucleoli, modest eosinophilic cytoplasm, and high mitotic index (14/10HPF). This pattern is consistent with the diagnosis of glioblastoma with adenoid features.
