Reactivity for cytokeratin CAM5.2 is present only focally within the resection material (which is common in adenoid glioblastoma). No reactivity is observed for notochord/chordoma-marker brachyury or for antibody mutant IDH-1, which recognizes the most-common glioma-associated mutation (R132H) in the isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 gene.
