4B2-6 The majority of the tumor cells have an epithelioid appearance with pale eosinophilic cytoplasm, clear cell borders, oval to round nuclei with vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli. In addition, multinucleated or giant tumor cells with bizarre nucleoli are relatively frequent. Apoptotic debris and mitotic figures are frequent, including atypical mitotic forms. The marked epithelioid morphology of the majority the tumor cells is consistent with an epithelioid glioblastoma. (H&E)
