The primitive area is characterized by marked Ki67 immunoreactivity (Ki67 IHC) ---- Ancillary studies (not shown): FISH studies show loss of 10q/monosomy 10 but not EGFR amplification or 1p/19q deletion. FISH for NMYC showed insufficient probe signals for analysis and was not informative despite multiple attempts.
