Case 11 History ---- The patient was a 68 year old woman who presented with headaches and periods of confusion. Imaging studies revealed a 4.5 cm cystic and solid right frontal lobe mass with associated cerebral edema. ---- This old case was originally given a diagnosis of glioblastoma with PNET and an oligodendroglial component; reclassification would likely not include an oligodendroglial mention other than histology. This case was worked up before the widespread use of IDH1 mutant status. ---- 11A1 The neurosurgical specimen shows marked variation in the appearance of individual tumor fragments (H&E)
