The junction between the glioblastoma with PNC cell population (Ki67 IHC) ---- Ancillary studies (not shown): FISH There was evidence of chromosome 19q deletion, although there were normal dosages (2 copies) of chromosome 1, with no evidence of 1p deletion. Additionally, there were polysomies (gains) of chromosomes 2, 7 and 8. Hybridization studies showed borderline evidence of chromosome 10q deletion. There was no evidence of EGFR or MYC gene amplifications. The genetic features are relatively non-specific, although the chromosome 10q loss is often seen in glioblastomas.
