14C1,2 Interestingly, the majority of epithelioid tumor cells as well as small primitive cells display strong synaptophysin reactivity, including perinuclear dot-like accentuation. Given the presence of epithelioid morphology, we performed IHC for mutant BRAF (p.V600E), but this stain was negative.
