This is a high grade glioma composed of highly pleomorphic cells with a prominent population of markedly bizarre multinucleated giant tumor cells. There are large zones of tumor necrosis and multifocal areas of palisading necrosis. Numerous areas of microvascular proliferation are present, and mitotic figures are easily identified.
