Marked proliferative activity is appreciated in this Ki67 immunostain. ----Ancillary Studies (not shown): FISH identified normal dosages of both chromosomes 1 and 19. Additional studies showed EGFR gene amplification, chromosome 7 gain (polysomy 7), and chromosome 10q deletion. These studies further support the diagnosis of glioblastoma, small cell variant, WHO grade IV, rather than an oligodendroglial tumor.
