This is a hypercellular neoplasm composed of small cells with minimal cytoplasm, oval nuclei, and relatively fine chromatin with occasional small nucleoli. The nuclei show a mild amount of pleomorphism, with round to ovoid shape and mildly irregular contours. (H&E)
