23A1-4 At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1130g. Coronal sections show the region of encephalomalacia in the left temporal lobe and a large, contiguous region of solid tumor with discoloration beginning in the right temporal lobe more anteriorly, with extension to the more superior right parietal lobe in its caudal portion. The right hemisphere is also notably expanded, in a diffuse, ill-defined manner. The ventricular system showed mild dilatation.
