6A1-6 The left cerebral hemisphere is edematous with a flattening of gyral and sulcal architecture with a large area of yellowish, brown granular discoloration, hemorrhage and softening. Coronal sections of the brain confirm the hemispherical asymmetry. There is cingulate gyrus herniation. The regions of involvement extend from the level of the genu of the corpus callosum posteriorly to the occipital pole. Tumor also extends across the corpus callosum markedly thickening the structure and extending into the right hemisphere. Tumor also extends into the septum pellucidum and into the fornices expanding these structures.
