Case 7 History ---- The patient was a 75 year old female with a 1 month history of inappropriate behavior and confusion. CT scan of the head revealed 3 non-enhancing lesions, 2 in the right parietal lobe and 1 in the left frontal lobe. On 5/26/87 the patient developed left hemiparesis and became lethargic. Brain biopsy was performed and interpreted as positive for malignant cells and transferred to BH for 2400 rads of radiation therapy. The patient's hospital course was remarkable for a stuporous mental status. On 6/7/87 the patient was found without heart rate or respiration.
