Tumor is found throughout most of the right cerebral hemisphere and extends into the third ventricle, corpus callosum and left frontal cortex and caudate. ---- Not shown: The tumor is composed of markedly hypercellular neoplastic astrocytes, many of which are large and multinucleated, with vascular proliferation, necrosis, and pseudopalisading.
