11C1,2 The majority of tumor had a different appearance, including a subpopulation that was consistent with sarcoma, composed of intersecting fascicles of spindled cells with high cellularity, increased mitotic activity, and foci of tumor necrosis. A reticulin stain shows increased intercellular deposition within the areas resembling sarcoma.
