13B1-4 Immunohistochemical staining for GFAP shows strong GFAP expression and highlights the intermingling of the gliomatous and sarcomatous component. The sarcomatous portion is negative for GFAP. The gliomatous appearance includes solid areas as well as fingers of glioma surrounded by mesenchymal elements.
