Immunohistochemical and special stains show two populations of spindle-shaped cells, often admixed. One population shows strong diffuse positive staining (15C1,2) with a GFAP immunohistochemical stain; whereas, the other is more highlighted by reticulin (15C3), although there is considerable overlap.
