Case 4 History ---- The patient was a 72-year-old woman who presented with right ear discomfort and a bad taste in her mouth. A CT scan found a 3 cm right frontal mass with surrounding vasogenic edema. PET scan showed linear hypermetabolism within the spinal canal at T11-T12 level, suspicious for intradural metastasis. Operative procedure: Craniotomy with tumor excision. ---- 4A1,2 T1-weighted contrast administered MRI scans identified the frontal lobe mass.
