3G HGAP (Case 3) H3K27me3 20X
The tumor cells are negative for H3K27M but retain expression of H3K27me3. (H2K27me3 IHC) ---- Not shown: The tumor is negative for the mutant form of IDH1(R132H). Neurofilament highlights a diffuse pattern of tumor infiltration. ---- FISH studies show homozygous deletion of CDKN2A/B. There is no evidence of EGFR amplification or monosomy 10. Molecular profiling demonstrates an NF1 gene mutation. NIH methylome analysis established the diagnosis of High Grade Astrocytoma with Piloid features (HGAP).
