Case 9 History ---- The patient is a 50 year old female with a history of cervical carcinoma and was treated chemotherapy and radiation in 2/2002. She now presents with new onset seizures since 4/2004. Imaging studies show a 3.5 cm right frontal non-enhancing lesion. Clinical diagnosis: Rule out glioma. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for resection of brain tumor. ---- 9A1,2 The neurosurgical specimen shows cortex and adjacent white matter with focal blurring of the gray/white junction.
