17B1,2 Sections of the left frontal mass show a diffuse oligodendroglioma with secondary structures, abundant branching small vessels and formation of microcysts. Microvascular proliferation and necrosis are absent. Mitotic activity is present within tumor cell sheets, but never at a higher rate than 4 figures/10HPF.
